The main character doesn’t get along with mom.
It is time to move out of the house. The mother helped him pack his belongings together into cardboard boxes. The mother wrote down the name for each box with a Sharpie, and she wrote on one of the little box “From mom, love.” After the character arrived at his dorm, he left the box that mom wrote under his bed. He left it there. Untouched.
As time passed, he discover the box under the bed. “From mom” he was surprised to see this box for the first time in a few years, he opens the box and the character cracks in tears.
